Bali needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Bali is a handsome black Domestic Long-Hair who is about 3 years old. His story is a sad one. Bali and his "sister" Bambi (not littermates) came from a home were they were not cared for properly. Initially Bali was a feral kitten who was socialized, to some degree, by a nice woman. When he began to trust people he was adopted with Bambi. Unfortunately, the people who adopted these two sweet kitties did not pay much attention to them and never got them any vet care while they lived in their home. They were brought to FURR recently and both were suffering from infections. Both cats were extremely hand shy and anxious when we took them in. Now both Bali and Bambi are healthy again and ready for a FURRever home. Bambi has come around nicely and is very friendly, loves kids, and has a very outgoing personality. Her profile can be seen on our website. Bali, on the other hand, has reverted back to the way he was when he was taken in as a feral kitten. Thanks to the FURR volunteers that take care of him everyday though, he has a great appetite, plays with the other cats at Petco, and is learning to like being petted and brushed. This young man just needs an adoptive home that has patience and is willing to give him a chance to learn to trust and understand how wonderful touch can be. It will take a Special person to give Bali the great life he so deserves. Bali is up to date on his shots, neutered, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in adopting Bali he is currently living at the Whitehall Petco and can be seen there any time or more personally at adoption events every Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM.
